How to Get a Virtual Card
You can get a Rays Card virtual card straight away from the portal. It costs $10 to issue, with no annual fee, and you can use it to pay online.
A Rays Card virtual card is issued as soon as you order it in the portal (app.rayscard.com). You can use it to pay online without waiting for a card in the post.

- Activation: not needed. You can use the card as soon as you have paid
How to get one
1. Tap Apply for a new card on the home screen
You can also start from Create a card on your card list.
2. Choose Virtual card
3. Choose a design
Pick the design you like, then tap Continue with this design.
4. Choose how to pay
You can pay from your wallet balance, with a credit card or with crypto. To pay from your balance, check your balance after payment and tap Pay $10.00 from balance.
5. Your card is ready
When you see Payment Successful, your card has been issued and appears in your card list.
Find your card number, expiry date and CVV
To pay online you need your card number, expiry date and security code (CVV).
1. Open the card and tap View Card Info
2. Enter your password
Enter your login password and tap Verify. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
3. Check your card details
Your card number, expiry date and security code are shown. Use the copy buttons to copy each one.
Please note
- Never share your card number, expiry date or security code with anyone. Rays Card staff will never ask you for them.
- You can suspend the card at any time with Suspend Card on its page, and reactivate it later.
- If you pay with crypto, network fees apply separately.
